How
to Print Maps
First you need to order and download
TopoMAKER maps to your local computer.
details..
If you only have a desktop printer that prints on 8
1/2 x 11 paper, be sure to order TopoMAKER
maps in ATLAS
mode. Atlas mode breaks up large maps into smaller
maps that can be printed on your desktop printer. You can then
use the smaller printed maps individually, or you can can cut
and paste them to create a large printed map.
If you
ordered a large area TopoMAKER
map in Single
Sheet Mode, you must have a large format
plotter to print it. Your desktop printer will
only be able to print a small area of the map at a
time.
TopoMAKER maps are available in PDF
Acrobat, TIFF or JPEG file format. You select
the file format when you order the maps. PDF is
the most universal format for viewing and printing.
Which graphics programs can input, display, and print TopoMAKER
